Hey, y'all. Crazy long time without a post. Sorry about that!
Next Friday, June 15th, there is a fellowship night at Linda Lee Allen's home. We'll be having an outdoor picnic, and it will be a great time to get together with friends and make some new friends.
Also, Stephanie Wetlie and I will be leading the next Wednesday night study when Shirley's fabulous study on the Fruit of the Spirit ends. I brought Seven options last Wednesday, and will bring them to Sunday school, too. The front-runners right now are Finding Favor with the King
by Tommy Tenney (a study of principals he takes from the book of Esther -- but not the novel -- though that's really good, too); Bad Girls of the Bible
by Liz Curtis Higgs; and Lies Women Believe
by Nancy Leigh DeMoss.
Other options include Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World
by Joanne Weaver, B.L.E.S.S.E.D.: Discover God's Bigger Dream for you by Robyn Henk, a Willowcreek study on service, and a Women of Faith study Living a Life of Balance
. Stephanie teased me about having a subconscious theme as I pulled books from Carpenter's Son's shelves.
This is your chance to weigh in if you have a strong preference.
